Another problem with electric cigarettes is that they don’t seem to be effective. Studies have shown that many people who try to quit smoking using them don’t succeed for years. Some researchers think that this is because they are relying too heavily on the devices, with the result they aren’t changing their behavior.
Smokers who make an effort to quit using electronic cigarettes sometimes don’t succeed for weeks or months. They provide up because they don’t believe that they are making any progress. Whenever a person quits smoking, he / she knows that it will take time to overcome the habit. Electric cigarettes don’t provide a timeline.
Even though nicotine is contained in one of the most advanced electronic cigarettes, there is still no evidence they can successfully be used to provide people who smoke regular cigarettes a “secondhand” experience. Folks are using electronic cigarettes for a variety of reasons, and they can’t all reap exactly the same benefits. For example, smokers who use them to help them stop smoking may be relying too heavily in it. They may not be aware that they may be using them to increase their threat of serious health conditions, such as cancer.
Electronic cigarettes do present a genuine risk, but they are much like a great many other naturally occurring substances. Studies have shown that the consequences of long-term exposure to second-hand vapors is nearly add up to that of cigarette smoke. The vapors pose no serious health risk, and the compounds that cause them have already been within previous studies to be generally safe. However, you need to stay away from vapors if you are a smoker, since they are potentially hazardous if you breathe them in. If you’re not a smoker, or you merely aren’t concerned about getting cancer, electronic cigarettes are probably not a good choice for you.
